YPPS is now an FSC certified vendor. The Forest Stewardship Council™ (FSC) is an international not for-profit, multi-stakeholder organization established in 1993 to promote responsible management of the world’s forests. One of its main tools for achieving this is independent certification and labeling of forest products, which offers customers the ability to choose products from socially and environmentally responsible forestry.
YPPS is dedicated to supporting the University’s evolving media needs both educational and administrative with excellent customer support, resourceful solutions and indispensable services.In June, YPPS won two awards at the In-Plant Printing & Mailing Association (IPMA) Conference. This annual conference gathers in-plant printers and mail operators to consult, learn, and interact with each other. The two IPMA awards included: gold award for a stationery package printed on digital equipment for Loughlin Fitzgerald, a non-Yale client, and a bronze award in the booklet category (48 pages or fewer with cover) for the Yale Divinity School Andover Newton Seminary booklet.
“This event is exciting to attend, as we always learn much from our peers, as well as share our knowledge and experience with them,” said YPPS Associate Director Frank Savino. As a conference attendee since 2012 and frequent presenter, this year, IPMA requested Frank to chair the upcoming 2020 Awards Committee.
