Yale Printing and Publishing Services (YPPS) is excited
to announce Christian Peralta’s promotion to BluePrint Manager.
Chris will lead the BluePrint team in his new position and manage more back-end support of the copier/printer rental program like contracts and billing. The BluePrint Copier Rental Program includes about 2,000 copiers and small wide-format printers located throughout campus. Chris will take over for Maria McLellan, who is retiring.
Chris has been at Yale and YPPS since 2017; during that time, he was a BluePrint Technical Support Specialist. He worked in the field with Yale’s students, staff, and faculty setting up printers and copiers, vendors to coordinate service, and Yale IT on the Next Generation Network (NGN) project. Chris now takes all that hands-on experience to his new position.
Before Yale, he worked for an equipment manufacturer, managing Yale New Haven Hospital’s fleet of printers and copiers and their small print production floor. Chris grew up in New Haven and graduated from Temple University with a B.A. in Sociology and Latin American Studies. After living in Philadelphia for a few years, he and his wife decided to move back to New Haven to raise their two children and be close to family. He will spend the next few weeks transitioning into this new position and hiring a new BluePrint Tech.
YPPS wants to thank Maria McLellan for her 15 years of service. During her tenure, she served as an Associate Director managing several departments, and for the past five years, leading the BluePrint Program. Prior to Yale, Maria worked for over 30 years in various commercial printing plants in Connecticut. Not one to slow down, Maria plans to spend time with her older sisters who are retired and possibly try a part-time position in another field.
Please join YPPS in wishing Maria the very best and congratulating Chris.
