The Forest Stewardship Council™ (FSC) is an international not for-profit, multi-stakeholder organization established in 1993 to promote responsible management of the world’s forests. One of its main tools for achieving this is independent certification and labeling of forest products, which offers customers the ability to choose products from socially and environmentally responsible forestry.

Recently one of our staff members, Mark Smith, YPPS Customer Service, was recognized for his personal outstanding service. A letter was written on his behalf by the Director of Yale Admissions thanking him for taking the time to help find a wayward admit package. It involved Mark actually going to the local Post Office to search through bins for the envelope! Mark was surprised with a mini #outofthebluethanks ceremony including a thank you card and gift.
