YPPS is now an FSC certified vendor. The Forest Stewardship Council™ (FSC) is an international not for-profit, multi-stakeholder organization established in 1993 to promote responsible management of the world’s forests. One of its main tools for achieving this is independent certification and labeling of forest products, which offers customers the ability to choose products from socially and environmentally responsible forestry.
YPPS is dedicated to supporting the University’s evolving media needs both educational and administrative with excellent customer support, resourceful solutions and indispensable services.YPPS participated in the 3rd Annual Founders Day, which is held every October on a day close to the anniversary of Yale University’s founding.
This year, Founders Day overlaps with “Celebrate Sustainability,” a weeklong series of sustainability-related events around Yale’s campus. The 2016 Founders Day theme is “Working Together for a Sustainable World,” allowing members of the campus community to celebrate the ways they are “working to ensure that the legacy of our founders can continue into the future.” Jason England and Matt Cusmano both of YPPS attended the event sharing information about our many sustainable initiatives including:
