3D printing is causing a big hubbub lately. The trend hasn’t been missed by the Elm City–The New Haven Free Public Library on Elm Street has acquired a MakerBot of its own. Classes offered for those interested filled up quickly. This initial summer pilot will be reviewed and the library will decide how to move forward. The Forest Stewardship Council™ (FSC) is an international not for-profit, multi-stakeholder organization established in 1993 to promote responsible management of the world’s forests. One of its main tools for achieving this is independent certification and labeling of forest products, which offers customers the ability to choose products from socially and environmentally responsible forestry.
