Giving Back

The holidays are here! For the fourth year in a row, the staff at 25 Science Park and 344 Winchester will hold a basket raffle to raise funds to bring some holiday cheer to the Wexler-Grant Elementary School. This year, baskets (see pictures above) were provided by a record number of Yale departments and some individual staff members. On November 15, tickets will be drawn.The proceeds from the fundraising efforts, which also included a bake sale, will go toward age-appropriate holiday gifts, goodie bags containing fun treats, and a hat and gloves for each child. Themed “Peace on Earth,” the event will take place on December 8 for approximately 400 children at New Haven’s Wexler-Grant Elementary School.  YPPS created a Lottery Wreath with $180 worth of scratch-off tickets! They can be bought at the 25 Science Park lobby November 11, 12, 13 and 15 from 12-2 p.m. On November 14 they can be bought at the office at 344 Winschester from 11:30-3pm.Ticket prices are $1 for 1, $5 for 7 and $10 for 15.
