In 2017, YPPS designed and created “Yale in Action” t-shirts that were available for staff and volunteers to purchase. We still have a number of these shirts available in several sizes, and we are now selling them for the all-time low price of just $5 each. All proceeds go to benefit the current Yale-United Way campaign.

The YPPS BluePrint Team manages the Copier Rental Program and the PaperCut Program, we customize our services based on your specific needs.
Over the last 25 years, YPPS has been able to procure and provide top quality custom specialty items and more to the Yale community. With a dedication to quality, turnaround, and cost, our Promotional Items & Solutions department has partnered with local Yale-approved vendors to produce all of our products. YPPS is now an FSC certified vendor. The Forest Stewardship Council™ (FSC) is an international not for-profit, multi-stakeholder organization established in 1993 to promote responsible management of the world’s forests. One of its main tools for achieving this is independent certification and labeling of forest products, which offers customers the ability to choose products from socially and environmentally responsible forestry.
YPPS is dedicated to supporting the University’s evolving media needs both educational and administrative with excellent customer support, resourceful solutions and indispensable services.Over the next few weeks, Yale students who use campus printing clusters will notice new equipment accompanied by bright blue and yellow signage. Branded with university spirit in mind, BluePrint printing clusters, now found around campus, combine what was previously a variety of printer programs including YPPS Copier Rental and PaperCut programs.
Under the united BluePrint system, operations will be seamless for customers who previously used any of the above systems. For instance, PaperCut customers will continue printing to the same queue names and client software.
Some great new changes and lower prices for students include:
- NEW LOWER COLOR RATE effective January 2014. This Anniversary Rate is offered in celebration of YPPS’s 25 years serving the university community. The new student color printing rates decrease from $ 0.30 per page to $ 0.25–a 17 % discount.
- Green initiatives – all student print locations will have Aspen 30% recycled FSC certified paper starting in January 2014; all equipment is Energy Star certified.
- New remote monitoring – YPPS is now able to monitor all devices remotely and troubleshoot malfunctions.
- YPPS has increased service coverage at all student printing locations. Technical Support Specialists will make scheduled visits to cluster locations on a daily basis.
- Clear Labeling - Equipment will be prominently labeled with printer names & corresponding print release stations.
- Contact Us – Call BluePrint customer service directly with any questions or issues at (203-436-9640).
- By July 2014 - Global queues will be named BluePrint. The existing YalePrint PaperCut queue will point to BluePrint queue so students won’t have to update their computers.
- All residential College clusters will have new color multi-functional devices installed over the summer.
