Of Design and the Super Bowl - logos 1966 to 2014

An event as iconic as the Super Bowl is best known because of its branding. Nothing is as well recognized across the country as the words "Super Bowl" followed by roman numerals.

Since 1966, the roman numerals have been treated with the local flare of the host city (such as the Art Deco font used for the 1998 Super Bowl hosted in Miami). More traditional signage like the Vince Lombardi Trophy and a goal post have been incorporated into the logo in recent years and proved very popular.

YPPS wishes everyone an exciting Super Bowl weekend, regardless of whether you root for the Seahawks or the Broncos. Take some time to look through all of the Super Bowl logos from years past.
